I have tried putting the mounted side down and using the jack to move it.

Feb 19, If the rear hubs are ok, just do the bushes. Part drop the axle on a jack (with wooden plank), making sure you don't overstretch the brake flexis. Then go to town on the bushes. They are pig to remove but with practise you get better at it.

You don't have any pressing tools?

Attack in one area and cut the outer metal sleeve, then"fold in". The bush will then drop bushremove.pwted Reading Time: 6 mins. 1) With the axle on the ground, drill a couple of holes in the bushing to drain out the oil. Let it all drain out, you don't want it splattering around when you're using your Big Hammer. 2) With the chisel and Big Hammer, go to work on the lip of the bushing, driving it in the direction of the bushing on the other bushremove.pwted Reading Time: 4 mins.

Oct 29, threaded rod (make sure its think enough think i used 12mm)some nuts washers and an impact bushremove.pw need to cut a bit from one of the sockets so it sits over the the flanged side of the bush and the other socket at the other side with the threaded rod through all of it with washers and nuts clamping it together. assuming you have lowered the axle use the impact gun to pull the old bush bushremove.pw the same in reverse for fitting with a little wd40 for ease.

but beware as the bushes.

Ha ha ha ha evil laugh Too tired to go for a test drive.

Jun 20, 1) Lift the rear of the car and put it on jack stands, leaving it low enough that the tires are still on the ground, but enough clearance to get underneath and reduce the weight on parts.

2) Unbolt the rear axle beam at the bushing joint and bring that end down. Jan 30, jack up the rear axle and the bracket will go roughly to where it should be to re accept the 4 16mm bolts you took out, if its not square use the score lines as a referance point and gently or youl damage threads and bolts wont go in you'l just cross thread them put your little flat blade screwdriver through the bracket mount holes and jiggle the bracket back into position, re fit the 4 16mm bolts but.
